As a photoshop user, sometimes I just want somethign specific for illustration and not all the extras. This..was perfect, while still having the versitility I crave and need. It also transitions nicley between OC and photoshop and BACK again..which was a bonus for quick manipulation and back and forth. Love it. It's clean and streamlined,a nd I'm nto getting lost trying to learn the softwear while working on my art. I've also used it in my twitch streams and viewers realy prefer the layout and have asked for tutorials on the softwear itself.. Great software, I love it!. i like it, its kind of pricey but still a good program. Sorry for my bad english but...This program is amzing.A love the helping tools.I starting to learn how to draw yesterday and there is allready a big diffrends happaning.Maybe in a year i don't draw as a 3 year old.This is the best drawing program for me. With most drawing software (OpenCanvas 6 included), creating artwork with the software is usually very enjoyable. With this, it is very tedious and not fun. The UI looks very nice, but trying to navigate through menus is annoying and hard. The drawing itself is quite delayed too.I'll definitely re-visit OpenCanvas 7 in a year or so to see if it's improved, but right now I feel that £45 is definitely not worth it.. oC7 is a wonderful piece of software. I've used many art programs in my years of being both a hobby digital artist and doing professional commissions such as Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro, Medibang Pro, Paint Tool Sai etc and even openCanvas predecessors. Although I did have a few issues since I purchased the program and at one point I was unable to use the program but since update it has been working amazingly for my work. I have high hopes for this program and so a few glitches here and there are expected, I trust they will be fixed up if and when they arise. The layout for those who are new to art programs, may find it somewhat overwhelming. If you're used to Medibang Pro, you may find they are pretty similar in layouts. It is similar to Photoshop in layout but coming from heavily using both Sketchbook Pro and Photoshop, I found it a little confusing for the first few hours of use. You tend to get used to it fairly quick and learn your way around in little to no time at all, I'm pretty used to the layout and like it very much/ It's very convenient and fairly customizable to suit your drawing and work style. This program also has the option to record events. I'm yet to fully try it out, I did have some issues when I first tried but I won't comment until I fully figure it out as it's not something I have done before. XD I quite like the brushes and the ease of customization in that area. I wasn't happy with the pencil brush settings but changed a few things and am now satisfied with using that brush for my sketching.Overall I recommend this program to anyone, newbie artists and professionals alike as it's a great program and the cost may seem like much to some out there, but it's honestly worth alot more than what they ask for it. I consider it fairly decent and cheap for such a high quality program. No program is perfect, but this program is perfect for my specifc needs.I've improved my overal workflow since I started to use oC7 more frequently compared to PS where I was farirly sloppy with my line work and colour. I personally found oC7 very comfortable to use and I think it will replace all my other more expensive programs in future.. If you use Cintiq 13HD as your tablet the cursor just doesn't want to aline...I'll maybe test this with other tablets to see if it's just my prized tabby that you hate so muchbut for now I'll use FireAlpaca SE.So far.would not recommend getting if you ONLY use cintiq 13hd.. I totally recommend, but the problem is if you keep it open for too long i guess it stops fully loading in. Does anyone knows how to fix this problem?
